seems to me that h wonders what I'm up to when I just do my own thang.

h bought himself a new tv for the basement (I had bought a small one for the kids when h wasn't living here cause I don't need a big tv and neither do they) not a big screen but almost..so he's been parked down there pretty much all the time since the 24th watching football games or highlights etc.

We had "his" family over for a christmas and after they left and we put the kids to bed he returned (actually he was down there much of the day) to the basement and I lit myself a fire in the family room and watched what I wanted to...he came up a few times..looked at the fire and blew on it to make it roar a bit more....I later went to the basement fridge for a soda he said "I would have brought one up for you" (I wasn't about to ask him to bring me up a soda) he asked me to come down and watch football with him but I said no thank you...why not he asked...well I'm wathcing this movie...he came up again to deliver another soda that I didn't ask for but I thanked him...he's come up a couple time wondering what I'm doing.

sheesh!

I'm not doing anything..just watching tv by the fire and occassionally snoopin around the bb ( I assume he knows that's what I'm doing when I type here as he knows I come here)

guys are so freakin weird...spend time with them and they could care less...go do your own thing and they wonder where you are.

LL oh ya and one of the times he came up he said "you did a great job this week, it's a lot of work and you did it" and then gave me a peck on the cheek.

the lot of work is the buying of gifts for everyone but me, wrapping them, baking cookies, cooking the meals, cleaning the house from all the shtuff. Had two christmas dinners here one for 17 and todays for 15 horsdourves to desserts and all h had to do was bring in a couple of folding chairs buy and wrap my gifts and show up...so it's nice to know I'm appreciated...now can I sleep for about a year????!!!!

ooooh...one thing I always say when people ask what I want for a gift is A DAY OFF! so bil and his w gave us a gift cert to dinner AND said...whenever you want to go just let us know and we'll come watch the kids! now that's a gift I like.
