I considered that, but I know what her response would be. She would just start into her same old story about how she has done everything for the kids for years and now it's her turn to have fun for herself and I need to cover the kid duties. I dropped D11 off to school this morning and I arranged for the sitter to watch her until I get off work. At this point, this type of behavior from my W is expected so I always have a contingency plan when she does these things. I am just grateful that I have my family and friends in the area that are willing to pitch in and help when needed, and I have support from W's family. I am also grateful for my friends at work and employer for their understanding and support, plus the advice I get here. I guess a big part of keeping a PMA (positive mental attitude) is the ability to count your blessings, which I have done a lot of lately.
