There's just a little old fashioned karma coming down Just a little old fashioned justice going round A little bit of sowing and a little bit of reaping A little bit of laughing and a little bit of weeping Just a little old fashioned karma coming down
Coming down, coming down Just a little old fashioned karma coming down It really ain't hard to understand If you're gonna dance you gotta pay the band It's just a little old fashioned karma coming down

Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.
Not much to say, but I like to have a place if needed.
One thing did happen this morning.
I dropped D off with W this morning. D freaked! She didn't want to let go of me, and didn't want to go to W. She balled as W carried her to her car.
It was tough. Before I handed her to W I gave her a big kiss and said "see you tomorrow."
As W was walking away, I said again "I will see you tomorrow sweetie. I am sorry"
Boy, it kind of choked me up. On the flip side, and call me the devil, there is some sweetness to it as well. I hate to see D sad, but it also gives W a little dose of reality. And I just love what a little daddy's girl she is.
This is the first time D has reacted this way. As she gets older and more aware of the situation, it could happen more.
So then, 5 minutes or so after we parted ways, I get a text from W, with a picture of D and "she's happy now!"
No response from me.
This week is the good stretch with D for me. Had her last night, have her Wed night, then I have her Fri-Sun. So it is a stretch where I have D 5 of the 7 nights. Love it. Going to have a nice family weekend at my parents house.
Peace all.

I could use a little Karma today. But I was also spiteful today.
All in all, a very relevant thread full of impossible contradictions. Such is life and DBing!

My D (also 2) just tried to push my head down on BF's leg (so we'd snuggle - which hasn't happened in gosh knows how long) she was INSISTING while we were reading her books. And he called it out. I moved away. But still....
