You need to be prepared to give this time. Perhaps quite a bit of time. When my W broke off with OM, she was still giving me the "I miss my friend" months later in MC. It has been over a year, and I am quite convinced that he still rattles her cage. And I know he trys to contact her at times, telling her he needs to see her, and this is 15 months after she ended the EA/PA. It could be a long slog.

Having said that, you need to take care of yourself and hang in there. If you still love him, then keep loving him. Follow the advise of the vets on this board - they are wise beyond their years to be sure. Vent here when need be. We are here for you.
