Fool me once, Shame on ME

No not trying to hide her.

Today, OW dropped by unannounced , which took me by surprise but was Ok. She had a friend with her. She swam in the pool for awhile and then just hung out. Youngest son was also in the pool with her. It was a little weird to see that but youngest son seemed ok with it. I guess he is over our split. Oldest isnt.

Then she showed me some amazing stuff. She casually said, I see your boat is still in the driveway, I thought you were getting it in the water this weekend.

I said, I would but none of my friends have returned my calls about getting it in.

She said, well , lets you and I do it. And she was all over it.She has an Escape which I didnt think had the towing capacity.
But she manouvered it out of my driveway like a pro, ( truth be told, I couldnt do what she was doing with that trailer)

Then she borrowed her step dads big truck, we went down town , filled it with gas and then , into the water in minutes. It was amazing. My wife could NEVER have pulled that off. She said, I hope i didnt just take over and I said, nope, that was really cool. Then she noticed my back seats had rotted under the material and offered to replace the plywood tomorrow, get me a spotlight for the boat

We took it for a ride, and then I docked it like a pro even though I was a little nervous since I havent driven it in two years and was never the best at docking.

We are going out tomorrow on the boat for a huge ride and possibly, overnight. Wow.

It did feel funny as this boat was our family boat and now I have another woman with me although my wife was so nervous on board and never really relaxed. She made me nervous docking but OW made me feel at ease. She grew up around boats.

Interesting turn of events.
