I am in a better place today than I was last week when I was freaking out about the letter.

That is very good. Being a geek one thing i did was to plot was my emotional state against date(been doing it for 3~4 months now). Not bad. It is a curve starts high, has bumps in the middle but is slowly settling down and plateauing out.
