No worries Denver, no expectations here. I thought it would be weird to see her after over a month, but it wasn't. It was nice, but I didn't 'feel' anything special about having her there. Like I think I mentioned before, like a sister or something.

A couple of other things stood out from our convos. First, I had asked SD a few days ago if she wanted to have dinner with my boys and I Thursday. She said she thought that was the day they all left for camping. Told her ok, we'll figure something out at some point. Mentioned dinner with SD to W, and she said SD might not go camping now and eve if she did, they wouldn't leave too early on Thurs. W said at the end of the night she'd let me know if she heard anything from SD. Guess that's a good reason for her to keep in contact.

Other thing I found amusing: W asked if MIL had sent me a link to a video on communication. That was the email that eventually got back to W last week, so I told her yes. W complained that she wants to watch the video, but she's so busy with work, housework, etc that she doesn't have the time to watch it. She says she's eating unhealthy and gaining weight due to too much to do and being her alone. In the meantime she sees me eating healthier and talking about the running and other things I make time for. Plenty of time smile No, I don't rub it in...
