I am definitely enjoying normal. It's nice to be able to worry about the little things instead of trying to deal with an overwhelming trauma.
Dinner was amazing. They gave us a half glass of bubbly for free as a birthday present. Roger ordered the fish special, which was sturgeon, and I had the rib-eye. Everything was delicious and pretty. For desert we got the summer fruit crostada to split, it was cherry, and the waiter put a candle in it. He claimed he can't sing, but that suited Roger just fine.
All in all a wonderful evening. Only thing that would have made it perfect is if we weren't too full and sleepy when we got home to do anything but go straight to sleep! LOL.
