I do.

It feels good to get back to me.

Had a GREAT weekend camping with D. She did great and had a ball. I caught myself many times with this big stupid grin on my face as I watched her play.

When I picked D up from W on Friday we had a short exchange. She asked more questions about what we were doing. I was honest but didn't add more than I needed to. I was already packed up and we were heading straight up. The dog was in the back of the truck with her "Doggles" on and I was excited with D asking her if she was ready to go camping. W was heading into work, and I could just tell the look on her face that she knew she was really missing out on something. I know we should not take any joy from seeing our S's unhappy, but in all honesty we do want them to realize what they are giving up, right?

At the end she said "If you have service send pics, I won't see her for 3 days."

I was putting D in her car seat when she said it and muttered "OK" without looking back up.

Got a text from W first night we were gone "Hope you guys are having fun!"

Nothing on Sat night.

And then last night when she figured we were back home "Hope you guys had a nice time camping" (No !! this time wink )

I did not respond to either.

W has D the next two nights, then I have her Wed/Thurs night. We won't need to talk to each other until later this week/the weekend to arrange me picking D up from her this weekend for Fathers Day.
