I so get the story you told about your son and baseball....it is so hard to watch our kids grow to get through hurts, no matter what caused them.
As far as the over-eager date....there is a HUGE scope of what people expect on a first date, but I agree with you. I always mess up when first meeting someone and stick my hand out to shake and they come closer to hug. I mean, I've never met some of these guys before - it seems too intimate for the initial contact (maybe at the end of the date if it went well). Are we prudes?
