Trish - I know how diffucult it is to do the bankruptcy thing - that is what I do in my practice and I see clients every day that are in your same sitch and you will get through it.
on your son - ask him how he would do the Job hunt if it was a college assignment. Tell him to treat it like his last college class and to do his homework and research like he needs to make an A it that class too. Also sometimes there is not a right and a wrong answer but instead, two right answers.
