I WAS born a Protestant...converted just before my marriage.....but I grew up surrounded by catholic friends( my choice) and have been happily catholic since age 18( how do you think THAT one went over with the country club set!!!LOL You would have dropped on the floor laughing if you saw their faces!!hahahah).....so I guess I am a WASC??!!

I think having the pope to dinner would be hysterical!! and thanks for the book advise....I have heard of it but never read it! Next trip to Barnes and Nobles, I'll be parked by the fireplace reading it....
