She mentioned not wanting D to have to go to daycare on her birthday.

I am thinking of telling her that I will take a half day off work so she doesn't have to worry about taking the day off of work.

I am thinking 2 things here. 1, it gives me a lot more time with D on her BDay. 2, it basically says to W I will be doing my own thing with D that evening, without actually saying it.

It puts the burden on her if she is thinking something different.
