I do not think you're being paranoid. It's not like this hasn't happened before.
I do find it curious that the MLCer makes choices that supposedly get them what they want and they're still not happy and blame us.
I am so happy for you that you're moving. I think you'll feel better in a less remote area.
Until then, keep your guard up and be vigilant. He followed through with the divorce. He already took what wasn't agreed on yet,and has what you did agree on. Now, he just needs to leave you in peace.
