I went skydiving for my 50th. Very liberating, thrilling and a great GAL thing. I'm signing up for a class to qualify to jump on my own.

So cool...since you like speed on the bike, you might want to try a tandem jump. Would it be a 180?

Thanks for the bday wishes:

Made the ferry in good time. Hit a road I just love. Many twists and turns. Its hard to explain unless you ride a bike but it was like being on a downhill ski course going through gates in a certain cadence. It was awesome.

then off the ferry, rode with three other bikes for a bout 30 miles till they turned off.

Didnt ride too fast but wasnt dogging it either. Feel good on the bike.

Got together with old friends last night and toddled some tea.

Talk about contrasts. BadA$$ biker dude comes to town to sip on some tea. Surprised HOllywood isnt busting my door down for the rights to that blockbuster.

My other friend will be in tonw from Syrause tonight. Should be a good time. Then off to local bar where guy Im staying with is playing with his band.

Hope the tea is good there tonight. Just kidding.

Called my son, he is fine.

All seems to be good.

Good for you 9, Sounds great...Love the "Tea Toting " image of a bad biker DUDE........glad your playing it safe while on the roads.

One of our friends just had a car crash, during the rain storm on Thursday and is in a coma, and life support dependent as of right now.......pray for Val if ya have a minute, and there wasnt any booze or drugs involved Just one of those tragic things that happen in life.

So gald your playing it safe.

It simply said,, " Happy Birthday"

i find it strange that she gave that to me at 12:01. Is it possible to send that via timer.

I didnt send her a birthday wish on her birthday.

HOme from the wkend.

Had some really good times but also had some moments of sadness.
Trying hard to push bad thoughts out of mind with stopping techniques with some success.

A few moments really got me this weekend. I stayed with friends and when his whole family was getting dinner ready and laughing and joking. It really hit me. I will never have my family back to share moments like this. But again, it came in and then i pushed it out.

On the ferry where we went hundreds of times. I missed sitting with her and having a dinner and then just talking. I lay down on the bench seats there and tears actually came.

Pushed them out again and thought about other things.

Then focused on the good times I had this weekend. The freedom I had to go and see my friends. I also told myself that the past is gone and I MUST move on from this or I will surely be STUCK spinning my wheels.

NO MATTER WHAT, i will not let her know about anything about this weekend. I will let the boys think I had the time of my life and it was fun.

I got to spend some precious moments with my great friend from Syracuse. My best friend and his wife are both down right now so that was not very uplifting. She suffers from depression and I have never seen him like this before. He is going through something as well.

ON the whole, Im doing ok. Get through this day and move on to the next.

I cant wait to see my kids but till then, I have a lot of work to do around here.

9, glad you're back safe and sounds. Sounds like it was a productive trip. I don't know how you could've gone without the moments of sadness.
