Okay guys. No arguing. Brooklyn, you may be right.
I found out that I can't use a mtg. company as my name is still on the loan for this house, and I obviously couldn't pay for both. Duh. I had to go to my local bank ( more money down ) but they are willing to give me a loan at 20 year fixed that just squeaks under my alimony payment. What irony. He still ends up paying for my house!!!!
My objective is to get the loan and be set before he has the chance to default or whatever he plans to do if the house doesn't sell either by itself or at auction. He truly doesn't understand the consequences. He will ruin any chance he has of getting a loan, as well, including the VA loan he was planning to get.
I have a home inspector going out to my (hopefully) new house on Friday to give it the all clear. Tried to see my L yesterday to explain some "language" to me, but he was held up out of town in court, so I'm seeing him Friday.
On the entertainment front, I'm going with my BFF tonight to Ft. Smith to see a local favorite type of band called Reckless Kelly. I've never heard them, but she's practically a middle aged groupie. Gets me out of town! Olive Garden here I come.
