Thanks for that islander. It just been a little more difficult day than the last couple of days. It probably had to do with taking my S down to my W's new place. Since the move day, every day I've seen her she seems to be in good spirits. I do need to detach more. I am being as upbeat and positive as I can when I'm around her. I have to realize it's going to take some time. I have just been planting seeds and trying not plant too many at once. Just doing little subtle things here and there.

One thing that seems like a given, is they ALL say how happy they are. Or at the very least, act as happy as possible.

I can't say what is true or not of course but the old saying of believing none of what they say and 50% of what they do really applies here.

You staying positive and upbeat is definitely the best thing you can do. No one wants to come home to a miserable person.

Keep it up. I know at the beginning it feels like we are faking it. But SLOWLY, it becomes natural. It becomes real.

Thanks, Country. I needed that reminder right now. I saw her being a train wreck on move day, but she has SHOWN me a 180 over the last few encounters. I think lately at times I have had no problem staying upbeat and positive, but other times it takes a little more work. Today was one of those days it took a little more work.
