So W apparently posted that after finding out I was going to the picnic. Then she sent me 3 emails:
#1 I'm still going to the picnic and bringing the kids, so there is no reason for you to attend. I don't want any drama.
#2 I think your gonna be uncomfortable when you realize I'm brining someone.
#3 If you want to come, you could come after 1:30pm and we can trade the kids there and I'll just leave to go to work ok? So that way the kids can stay longer, if you don't wan't to do it that way then I can just leave there at 1:00pm to drop them off at your house. Let me know when you can. I just don't want any drama and I have no problem with you.
This time I'll await for suggestions on an appropriate response. I was thinking of something like, I'm well aware you are with someone. My children are more important to me than the possibility of any pain that may cause. As I've told you, my attending has nothing to do with you or us, it's about our kids. I will meet you at 1:30 if that makes you feel more comfortable.
