Ok guys! I have finally found some time to post an update! I was planning to last Thursday but we had an emergency! I could smell smoke and the lights started flickering and we discovered that the fuse box was smoking so ended up calling the fire dept! The good news is it never caught fire but it melted everything so I now have a new box with breakers rather than the old fuses!
My H has come home. He called me a week ago Friday and said he had told OW and packed some things and was on his way.
I don't want to bore you all with every detail so will try and summarize...
He is living here...we decided we could not afford for him to live separately. He works nights so we are sharing the master bedroom without any problems.
He has said several times that he made the biggest mistake of his life. He has agreed to look for a different job (he works with OW), an STD test and total transparency. We have a plan on getting our finacial house in order.
He told me that he laid awake worried about me and the kids and missed us.
Since he has been home, he has repaired several things that needed it. He has mentioned "future" things.
It is weird...H was gone for 16mos and it almost feels as if he was never gone!
A couple of things that H told me last night about OW. He never had ANY time to himself and she always acted disappointed when it was his weekend with the kids.
Things are not perfect...I still need to learn to keep my expectations low to none!
