couples counselling for divorce?

I could not get my XH to go to any form of counseling with me, but I went to counseling to deal with him divorcing me, and it has been a godsend. My doctor has been a counselor too and has helped me to come to terms with accepting the divorce as the best thing for me even though it happened against my wishes/will. I think any counseling is helpful, just my opinion. Good luck.
