All's well that ends . . . . . .?

Well, the worst is over. I am divorced. As predicted by my friend, the judge is taking everything in consideration regarding the settlement and will get back with the lawyers regarding.

XH, of course, went first. He said that all we did was fight and it was my way or no way. He came off as a totally arrogant b@$t@rd the whole time he was on the stand. He was openly hostile to my attorney. Refused to say Good morning to him. Finally said " Do we have to get into my personal life?" DUH. The judge responded "Yes, as a matter of fact, that is what this is about." He admitted to being involved with OW. Judge had to make him say the name. Lied and said they only became involved after we separated. Said I had tried to ruin his military career, etc. & so on.

When I took the stand, he literally turned his back to me. The whole time I was on the stand. As if I was too disgusting to look at.

He also admitted to having keys to get into the house ( which he had denied ) and came into the house yesterday while I was at work. Yep. Right up on the stand, he said that. I looked around today and found he had taken several items from the house that he listed as Marital. Things like Nature pics we had bought at Arts & Craft shows. He even listed the Fry Daddy for God's Sake.

His idea is to auction off everything we own and split the proceeds, if there are any. I had a house full of furniture when he came into my life. He had nothing. I worked for twenty years, 10 hours a day, but it was HIS money.

I' m just at a loss. I didn't think he could hurt me this way anymore, but on the other hand, expected as much. Now I have to wait and see what else the Judge wants to do. No decision today other than we are divorced.
