While driving with my boys a few days ago, I told them they had no choice in getting their mom a card, but asked if they wanted to get W (their step-mom) a card. Oldest (14) in the front seat yelled out "NO!". Youngest (12) in the back seat calmly said "don't think so dad" while continuing to play on his iPod. I don't think I'll do anything for her either, but I will get MIL a card as she's been like a M to me, moreso than her own D.
W birthday is a week after and haven't decided if and/or what to do for that. Have another week to decide on that...
Country, after my first D, while my boys were still little I got their M cards (still do I guess). Something simple would probably be fine.
