I'm confused about the links as well. When I click them none of them direct me to the thread, they all just take me back to the main table of contents page where all the threads are.
Any idea why the links are not working? I would really love to read them.

Yes. When the board is upgraded,or files are archived, all of the links affected are disconnected, ie, the links aren't valid anymore. I realize it is not convenient, but there's nothing we can do about it.
It appears you changed your name instead of just creating a new user. That's good, because you can click on your username, and the click 'view posts' or 'show users posts', and you have pages of all your posts. Go to the last page. Voila! You are at your beginning.
The link at the top that I posted appears to be your first post.
Btw--they ALL show as Betheman, but the quotes (if someone quoted you) show as indy36.

If I go back to the last page (22) it does not show my original thread at all - just a couple comments I made on other users threads. Then page 21 shows my most recent threads since I returned. So....I still can't seem to fin my original thread from 2005 when my username was Indy36.

This is how I found mine, BTM. Searching doesn't work because it's limited to a 6 month time range.
That's only by the search function. There are other ways, like I showed you.
I did search the Newcomers archives and there are holes, I do not see other posts for you there. They are probably not retrievable. You can try emailing virginia@divorcebusting.com
