Just got back from exchanging gifts with my family and w/o C - got me down some too but I had other family there to help me. Mom, my Daughter and 3 grand kids, two brothers and their familys - and I also had a good lunch w/ C today. and also got a good voice mail on my cell phone around 6. (I had taken it off my belt at home and did not hear it ring - she was baby sitting niece and nephew and only knows my cell #) it started out with "Hi, Darling" and she thanked me for lunch and listening to her and said it was good to see me and that I looked great. but even with that, not having her with me tonight did get me down.

She did tell me the other day about a poem she had that helped her get over some rough times and she shared it with me. I think it might help some of my friends here too so here it is.

Keep Believing in Yourself

There may be days
when you get up in the morning
and things aren’t the way
you had hoped they would be.

That’s when you have to
tell yourself that things will get better.
There are times when people
disappoint you and let you down.

But those are the times when
you must remind yourself
to trust your own judgments and opinions,
to keep your life focused on believing in
yourself.

There will be challenges to face
and changes to make in your life,
and it is up to you to accept them.

Constantly keep yourself headed
in the right direction for you.
It may not be easy at times,
But in those times of struggle
you will find a stronger sense of who you are.

So when the days come that are filled
with frustration and unexpected
Responsibilities,
Remember to believe in yourself
and all you want your life to be.

Because the challenges and changes
Will only help you to find the goals
that you know are meant to come true for you.

Keep believing in yourself!

When I read this it sounded like it came straight from our DBing books - I hope it helps some of you that are down right now.
