Just got back from lunch with C - she is still having lots of emotional feelings about having to let her employee go and to go to the sheriff about the problem - she had become friends with her and it is really tearing her up. I could not really make a decision for her as to what to do but I was there to listen and offer support. As I was leaving I got a big hug and she really held the hug for a long time. I offered to go on a "road trip" with her over the weekend but she really did not have the time to do that but did suggest new years eve instead.
I really hate that she is going through this but I am glad our R is good enough that I can be there for her for support.
