Yesterday was great - sleep in - Had to be at the beauty school at 10 - the instructor was great and really liked the idea of what I was doing. I had several photos of C so he could tailor the instruction more toward what I might do for her, but mostly it was just basic stuff. I learned to do a straight part, cut bangs, de-tangle and brush longer hair, use of the flat iron, curling iron and different rollers. Lasted almost 4 hours.
After the session I stopped by my friends office (the one I lent my DR book to) on the way home and he reports that he has read most of the book and it has really helped him. I really hope it can as he has a 3 or 4 year old son.
Talked with C on the cell as I was driving home and she invited me over last night. Seems that she was having two of her sons (oldest 20something and youngest 21) over for dinner and then exchange gifts. So I took my gift to her and the kids and went over. Had a great time and got home around 10.
