Or another perspective: "Why would you let someone compromise what you believe and who you are by what they are choosing or not choosing right now?"

Or "Why measure your own self worth by what someone chooses to give you back or by if they WANT you?"

I am not trying to say it's wrong to feel that way but there is a perpective I learned beyond that "tit for tat" way of looking at this tragedy.

Once I got past it, compassion and healing made their way into my life.

It ain't easy and it ain't what most people do either.

Just my own experience and I thought I would share it for what it's worth.
