Ahh...I forgot about that!

Not to change subjects...but just a little journal update.
Just wanted to note that H did come in again when he brought the kids home today. He only stayed for about 15mins this time. We have some ins business that he asked about and then just general talk about kids, pets, weather etc. And again, no mention of the D or house business.

The timing of their arrival could not have worked more perfectly today! I took one of the dogs for a walk and came around the corner of the house and he was walking out the door...he walked back in with me. I had one of his fav's simmering on the stove so the house smelled very good when you walked in. He did not comment on it tho.

I don't know, I think it was better when he wasn't coming in as I have seen some glimpses of the man I fell in love with and I miss him!

Anyway, it is a beautiful day here. (sorry SA!) It is warm, the sun is out and I have the doors and windows open! Hope everyone is having a good weekend!!!

CW,

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE it when a perfect DB'ing moment occurs!!!!!!!!!!....and let me tell you that unless your H is deep in the fog (and it doesn't sound like he is as deep anymore) that they DO notice. My XH has referred to post-bomb things over the past 6 months that I thought he was totally oblivious to...........and favorite scents in the air.....those activate a very primitive area of the brain (limbic system) that will evoke feelings in H for which he won't even be aware. Love it that you were airing out the house too. wink

H not mentioning D or house business says that he has mixed feelings about it. If he didn't, he would have said SOMETHING about it. Keep creating that doubt in H's mind.

I know what you mean about seeing glimpses of the man you feel in love with. As bittersweet as that is I always found it reassuring that I hadn't imagined or fabricated the person I fell in love with.

That is a good way to look at GAG...thankyou for sharing that!

I have stummbled the last couple of days... The reality of moving, selling the house etc. is setting in. S15 called me at work...neighbor asked about tilling the garden...can't see planting a garden if I am not going to be here to see it thru!

The weather has been beautiful here the last couple of days so made myself go out and clean out some flower beds and took a nice long walk...it truly helped! I bowl tonight so looking forward to that! So...slowly picking myself back up!

CW - I know what you mean about planting the garden...I find that I've lost interest in planting my window boxes and flowers....I guess I'll do a bit, so it looks good when I put the house on the market...but I'm not enthusiastic about it...

Enjoy the sunshine smile smile smile

CW,

Why not make a small raised garden just to raise a few things you particularly like. They make a home look attractive and lived in. Last year, I did absolutely nothing. I barely kept the yard mowed. This year, my porches are bursting with yellow petunias. My yellow roses are about to bloom. My blue hydrangea is looking good. It all makes me feel happier when I come home and sit on the porch. Do it for you, no one else, and screw the I might not be here.

If the government shuts down, we may need to till up the whole yard and plant crops.

CW,

Punkin is right! Do it for yourself if that gives you pleasure. If you plant things in pots, you can take the pots with you if you move. There is something very healing about enjoying flowers bloom or smelling fragrant herbs.

Hey Mila, punkin and GAG

I will definitely do flowers in pots and window boxes...not sure on the garden...I did all that last year but this year with working 2 jobs...just not sure I want to invest the time! I may plant a couple of things as you suggested punkin!!!

Got home from bowling last night to a note from S15 saying that neighbor wants to come over this weekend and help with some yard work! Very nice of him! Guess he is tired of looking at my wood pile! smile I am working Sat as it is prom and said I'd work also at the restaurant as most of the girls will be at prom so hoping it doesn't rain Sunday so I can get out in the yard!

Ok wise ones....I have a question

Just got off the phone with my L. Our settlement meeting was a month ago. Our court date is scheduled for this coming Friday, the 22nd. She has not heard a word from H's L. If you remember, my L asked my H if he would consider a LS rather than a D as that would be a better deal for him financially and would keep me on his insurance.

My L wants me to ask H if he has made a decision on a LS vs a D. Do I ask him or would it be better for her to call his L and have his L ask him?
