Brian, as a Phys Ed teacher, i would advise you to tread lightly with the p90x. That is a kick a$$ workout and if you are out of shape, i believe it will discourage you unless you modify the workouts.

Too Much too soon. Dont want to preach about fitness but I have seen soooo many people go for the mod eorkouts and
a) hurt themselves so they quit
b) get overwhelmed so they quit
c) see little results so they quit

its like DBing, babysteps, watch your diet more importantly than anything. And moderate workout at the start.

Not trying to discourage you.
