I am in a similar situation, my wife has left me almost 3 months ago, and suffers from mental illiness, she has had multiple affairs and is currently still in one, we have children as well 7 and 5 , I finaly filed for divorce even though I didnt want it because after all the attempts she still wanted to be with the other person and I felt it was time to draw a line in the sand, however I have said I would still consider reconciliation, I would say its going to be a long hard road for you , not impossible but long, I hope you have better luck than me, follow the techniques here.
