Hello everyone, never posted on here but I've read lots. Just really want some opinions. My husband left 6 weeks ago, we had a few problems, really we had neglected our relationship, he also started texting another girl in september. But hadn't admitted to this till Thursday. But thursday he phoned me saying he loved and that he needed to sort his head, crying his eyes out. He came to see me later to admit he was sleeping with this other woman, tears the lot, said he really deeply loved me, if me & other woman was in a burning building he would save me no contest. Then went to see his mate at the pub, 2 hours later he texts from the pub asking me if he can for coffee. We both agreed that wasn't a good idea!
Anyway next day, he treats me as if all he had said the previous day was never said and that he can't give me any false promises and just wants to be friends, says he's got these feelings about me that he feels he shouldn't be having. Can anyone give me their thoughts?

I am glad you found us, and I am sorry you are going thru a difficult time. This is a perfect time to talk to one of Michele's coaches. They are experts in helping you get very clear on your goal and how to implement it. They will advise you on what to do that is most likely to bring him closer and not push him any further away. Please talk to an expert.
Take good care.

I'm pretty new here myself and really don't have a whole lot of insight-yet.

I do know that you are in good company and will find lots of support and great advice.

I'm sorry you are going through this.

Welcome to the boards smile

You have found yourself in the best worst place to be ... you will find lots of peer support here, and yes, if you are able, the coaches are fantastic!

In the meantime, if you haven't read the books, get them asap. I would recommend starting with Divorce Remedy, it's newer and a little more updated, but Divorce Busting is full of great stuff too.

Keep posting, keep venting, keep asking questions ... we will do the best we can to answer them from our personal experiences.

(((hugs)))
Peace
PEI
