I like the MTM reference--it makes sense--but I wonder why it seems so much harder to choose that way of looking at it as opposed to choosing to stay in the sadness and anguish. I wonder if it is because we feel like in choosing the MTM moment and walking away from the situation we feel like we are "choosing" to "leave" our spouses, and we don't want to do that because it feels like we are betraying our vows. Just a thought.
