Well, that news didn't take long to drop into your lap. If you purchased the items and can prove it, then you may have a good case. Something similiar happened to me and as long as I could prove that I purchased the items, they remained w/me. If you gave them your h as a gift, then you can't claim them as yours. I would suggest you check w/your lawyer.
