D18 did get a text from her Dad the other day saying, "You know honey, we would have paid you $100 to come and stay at our house and take care of the dogs for a week while we're on vacation in the Outer Banks. It's only a block from your college."
Since H never asked D18 if she would watch the dogs while they took another vacation, I can only think that this has to do with their 'discussion' at the mall and D's refusal to meet ow.
D18 texted him back saying that was OK, she wouldn't have done it anyway.
I haven't personally heard from H since I told him to talk through his L and I'd do the same.
