You have to decide this. It isn’t over until you are ready for it to be over. There is still a lot of time and opportunities, moving out just changes the dynamic. Somewhere on this board I read filing the D is just step 2 out of a 100. I did not read the D had been filed.

Were you ever really able to apply LRT. IMO the physical separation caused by the move makes aspects of LRT easier.

IMO, when our spouses are truly on their own, when the clamor of their support group has settled and everyone is getting on with their lives then is the time the WAS is given the greatest opportunity to really look inside and examine the magnitude of their decision.

It is always a good time to talk to a coach.

JS,

Thanks for the reply, D has not been filed. She wanted to "do it together amicably"... I reluctantly agreed, and we made a list of everything we need to address, property, custody, etc... Now she has not brought up the D since, that was 3 weeks ago.. I guess the coach could not hurt at this point..But where do you start with a coach? Does anyone have experience to share? I could spend more than the first hour just going over the whole sitch? Or do they "read up" on your sitch, not sure where to start.

My experience with a coach was more of an interview. She asked questions and listened to my responses. It was adaptive, she adapted the questions and the responses to what I was provideing, and it filled the time slot. I actually wanted her to read up on my sitch, but that is not the way she works best. You might have a different experience, but I suggest being prepared to discuss your sitch.
