I talked to my MIL once since all this happened. It was a little weird but I pretended like all was well. We talked about the news and the weather. She called to wish my D a happy bday. Kind of uncomfortable throughout the convo. I also saw when I was visiting in OK and we talked for a little bit. I don’t know if I am getting detached but I really could care less.
