You're right, Wanda. She's needing to put our son under the same protective shield she has. That, and she has tons of resentment of me, which is totally understandable.

Thanks for the great big hug!

UPDATE 6:15pm
I'm so happy to spend time with my sweet little boy who's not so little any more. My wife dropped him off early (without communicating), but nevertheless I got to spend almost 2.5 hours with him. Took him to the playground across the street, then pushed him in his push car around the neighborhood, stopping by another local playground along the way. We had Vietnamese for dinner, then he watched Toystory 3 while playing with his train tracks. Fun stuff!

My wife comes to pick him up and packs more of her stuff from the bedroom. She then accuses me of hiding our son's pants from her so she had to buy more for him yesterday. I'm, like, what? I tried explaining to her that I did a whole bunch of mine and his laundry the night she told me she was going to take the washer. And when she moved the next day, I still hadn't gotten around to folding his and my clothes. So sue me for holding his clothes hostage. Arrrggh! Was this another test to see how I react? Or just a cheap potshot?
