I don't understand how you say that we don't show the WAW anything when the whole point is to let actions speak rather than words.

The ring is not mine. I can't ask for it back. It is hers to do with as she pleases (as per the divorce decree) so I think that mentioning the ring is just taking the bait from her... I'm not going to take the bait, I'm going to stay in control and let her fight with herself over the ring instead of with me.
