I keep thinking how broke I will be after vacation but then I stop and remember I was down to nothing and in less than 2 years I saved my rear off. I can do it again. I think I really need this vacation, it has been 6 years since I had one for fun.
I have had those mini adventures with the kids but those are usually just a couple of hours away.
It will all be good.

Yep! You are definitely one financially responsible woman. Even with the car issues and such! You have managed very well for yourself. And going broke temporarily for a fun vacation is SO worth it! Have fun with your new toy!

I recently bought an IPL hair removal thing that costed a lot for my coming 40th birthday. It was too much but hey... I wanted it. I havent bought any handbags lately LOL Good thing is, I 've used it 3 times and my legs are almost hairless already (except the parts I've missed zappping) !!!!!!! K
It's been five days since I posted on my own thread. So either I am getting pretty healthy or my life is boring. Can't believe I will be going in just about 2.5 weeks. 10 days is no where near long enough but it will have to do. My parents want to know where all my paper stuff is in case I meet my demise. What a happy thought. NOT. They always have done this for themselves but it kind of irks me that they are doing this for me since I am not married.
Found out I need to wait to get the cats fixed until after I get home. They won't be old enough until I am actually on my trip. Hopefully they don't get any ideas while I am gone.
So much to do and so little time. I hope I manage to get some rest on this trip.
