Guess I'm in the minority here guys, but I think she was either buttering you up for the money, or she "got off" being a tease. There are a lot of women who do it. It is like flattery to her ego. Now she sees how easy it is to work you.
I wouldn't be too quick to completely write it off to this. Who knows, something to consider for sure...

I don’t think it matters if you give her the money either way. What ever you do, you will want to monitor the results. If you give her the money and she goes back quiet, and then in a while does the same thing, you have your answer. If she continues to act this way even after you give her the money, maybe it was genuine. Works the same way if you don’t give her the money, see how she acts, and you should have your answer.
