Hi S_C, here I am back on this thread. I saw your reply today but I was actually having such a good day in the subshine I decided to get offline and outside for a little. Like the pink text.

I guess the movie thing won't be helping either of us right now. But MWD and the DB books talk about setting goals - that is one of mine, to get back to that.

Changing behaviors IS tough!!!! You're right about that.

I still think I have something to learn from Taoism - the not trying too hard and accepting what happens sounds about right for me about now. Just something I've been reading and talking about with a friend of mine, who teaching eastern thought.

There are many paths to peace. Taoism occupies a good place IMHO.
For myself I'm trying to put the Divine in the driver's seat and control only what is directly under my control.
Difficult to do if you grew up with the idea that the world is a dangerous place and there is nothing to trust in.
