As some of you know, I have a 16 year old son, who has dealt pretty well with this father's MLC. He sees things that I don't and he sees things that I do. And sometimes we have a little chuckle about things.
I also homeschool and one of the things he wants to do is get an iguana, so it has become a school project.
So this morning, we went to Lowe's to get the supplies to build the cage. Wood, chicken wire, etc...
So on the way home I asked S "Can you see what I am thinking about now that we have the supplies..."
S: "Yes, and in a year, you are going to have to help me build a larger one."
Me: "you could have your father do it..."
S: "Why risk it? You know what you are doing."
Well, I was just glad that we were at a stop light because I had to laugh.
My S's father, would be classified as Metrosexual by most. He is handy enough, but really is not a "do it yourselfer".
It always amazed me how our children see the truth about their parents.
