I like this one, especially if it's new. I bet this goal keeps coming back a couple of times until it becomes second nature.

I always open doors for people just because. Unless they don't say thank you, then I slam it in their chops. You should see their reaction to that!

LIS, I think that's a very important part of the goal - checking to see how you did. Else, how would you learn from mistakes?

The most important thing though is to not beat yourself up about not accomplishing a goal. Just set it again another day. You'll accomplish it eventually.

I hope we didn't lose everyone after a day:(

For me it was goal accomplished.
I stayed out of her way so she could have some me time. It was actually pretty easy because I DID stay busy.

Things turned out well too.

So for tomorrow:
get a good workout in
do some serious GAL by writing more
stay mysterious and dark

shall all be easy.

My first goal is to join a gym today. I have lost about 35lbs with the stress in my life over the last few months. Now it's time to start getting healthy and looking good.

Bolt, I couldn't get on the boards last night so sorry for not reporting in! I think I did meet my goal yesterday but in the way that I had thought and posted. I have a new volunteer treasurer at my office and she gets flustered very easily and I get flustered very easily with people like that. In fairness, she is taking this job over from someone who left it all in shambles. So, when she came in yesterday as usual she was very disorganized and flustered, I kept my cool and just tried to help her walk thru some things. I was just reacting very mellow and focused. It wasn't forced, but I noticed SHE was calmer and my energy was better spent this way then getting angry and defensive.

Today's goal is to make amends with SIL#2 who I've had issues with in the past. Not major ones, but let's just say that I was very critical and judgemental. I am meeting her tonight for coffee. And I'm going in with the mindset that when I treat people this way, how do I expect them to treat me back? And, what I'm looking to get out of the situation. Obviously, I was only encouraging more of the same.
