So after taking her to work only to turn around. I played nurse for a little bit and basically just do what I do now.
She told me to come talk to her around 5ish. She was feeling tons better but still taking it easy. She looked right in my eyes and told me that I won't ever realize just how much it meant to her what I did this morning.
It was the most sincere gratitude I've heard in a while.
It's funny because I do appreciate it fully. We've been very close and are snuggling more.
She keeps asking me to come down to the room to hang out but I'm still GAL a little. Not that I'm guarded but I don't want to get back into the flow just yet.
I took off to get some grub and pick up some beers (I'm a beer snob for sure). I was only gone an hour but she was asking what took so long
Seriously, I'm not playing a game, I just want us to be a work in progress for sure.
Like I've said for a while though, I'm not going anywhere. I hope I can be inspiration for you guys and give a little hope as well - it's so hard to believe that this is the same woman who relatively recently said that she didn't love me anymore and didn't think she ever could again.
