after a little more than a year i am back

my husband called to say goodnight to s last night
i made sure i was not in the room so my son would answer the phone
i had told him that i didn't need to talk to dad tonight, that i was busy, but at the end of their very short conversation, i was handed the phone anyway

but you all can be proud of me, i was brief, and although he tried to engage a bit, i made sure we kept it short and that i hung up first

it was hard because i miss him and yesterday was especially hard (right denver?)
but i am going at this with new resolve

First grr... do NOT send the letter!!!

Second, yes, yesterday was especially tough... or was that today? I can't tell. I continue to have a rough time. Been about 72 hours now.
