I answer on SIC's thread. But basically it means what it says. WAS is, in a way, crazy and in a fog. Most likely just as confused as we are, if not more.

Somebody on here posted the following and it helped me understand it...

"The way I got through that period was I saw my W as one of those crazy homeless people that you see sometimes muttering to themselves. After that, nothing she did or said really bothered me. I just tsked tsked it and chose to be happy."
