Ok, I do the same, but bear in mind - some brilliant men can still be dyslexic. The smartest grad student in my biochemistry program couldn't spell at all. And just the other day, I ran across a profile of a guy who was smart, well-spoken, actually has an academic job - and his profile was riddled with errors. (He's too young for me but I wrote to him and offered my editing services, which he accepted, lol. Us online daters need to stick together!)

My best friend is only dyslexic with typing. When she hand-writes it's not a problem. So it's definitely a consideration.

But I think they are the smaller percentage than those who just don't care...lol. It's not like spell check and grammer check aren't readily available...

So inthe middle or should I say the front end of this massive storm. My boss actually closed the office today so I didn't have to use sick time. I will get paid and just have to explain about the weather.

I don't know how tomorrow will be but we are supposed to get a whole lot of snow.

Thank heavens you get paid for him closing the office. It's far too treacherous to be out in that!

Are you getting the bad ice or more snow? I can't tell exactly where that line is between the two.

Stay warm girl! I've been sitting here doing nothing but rebooking clients due to cancellations....just love working in this industry in the winter. Every year it seems to get worse and worse. frown

We had freezing drizzle and then snow on top of that. It's not done yet. School and pretty much everything is closed tomorrow. I think I will be home again even if I have to do a sick day. It is slick even walking. I wrenched my back yesterday and my shoulder has been bothering me for a while.

Thank goodness basketball game is tonight!

We've got a snow day today as well. My workplace decided not to open and the school boards all chose to stay closed. Believe it or not, some are complaining about the schools closing. This is the first school closure since 1999! When my kids were in the private school system there were closures a few times every winter. Anyway, I've decided to stop watching Egyptians throw rocks at each other on this snow day and do some reading. I'm into Death or Victory (No, it's not about DBing!): The Battle For Quebec And The Birth Of Empire. Did you know that British soldiers used to relieve themselves at the entrance of their tents or at night inside the tent. Who says history is dry!

Why does it not surprise me that you would pick up on that info?? Got to open late today so I spent the morning snow blowing/shoveling the drive with S15 helping(without even being asked I might add). He is a great kid.

Feel as if I already worked all day but things aren't too hectic so all is good.
