I'm stopping by to check on you and to say "Hello!" Keep on keepin' on girl!
I was once offered a job in New Orleans and I thought that if I moved there I would have bad hair (frizzy hair) constantly. A friend who lives there told me that if I moved there I might have frizzy hair, but I'd have fabulous skin. I'll bet your skin is GLOWING these days.
Hope all is well and that you're keeping warm! I'll bet you have a lot of snow up there! Thank you for your feedback on my thread. I hope things are going well in your life.
Hi Seeking and GAG, I can't even imagine your winter! GAG, our summer is great even with the frizzy hair, the moist skin and the makeup sliding off your face!!!! With all the rain it's only been the last few weeks that we've really experienced the heat. The suburb I am working in is further inland and much hotter. I'm used to the ocean breezes!!
D's swim club hosted a meet yesterday so we're a little tired today.....D from the swimming and me from the full day/night of kitchen work and timekeeping. I didn't tell H about it but D did. He had sent her a few texts through the day to see how she was going but didn't bother to come. At about 6pm he sent me a text to ask if she was still swimming. I replied and then he sent another to ask how she was doing and to ask about my new job. I replied but didn't initiate any further conversation.
D says H is lonely and then she adds, "but that's his own fault" No sympathy from D!
So just one day of my weekend left and I have 1000 tasks to get my house in order and my week organised........ (and I really want to go out)
Sorry for the hijack but OK ladies, not sure where you are all from but hearing comments about your weather are making me jealous! Seriously, I would start a thread but afraid H may be able to find me based upon the weather!
Ever heard of the Ice Road Truckers? Well, I live about 30 miles from where that road starts. Arghhh ... semi dessert and minus 40 temps do not do wonders for the 40 plus soul!

My friend called me and asked me to coffee so I quickly abandoned my remaining 999 tasks and we headed to a beachside cafe. It was so nice.....sun was shining but there was a breeze to cool it off a little.
Fullsteam ....... welcome to SE Queensland, Australia. Beautiful one day, perfect the next..... (if you discount the weeks of flooding rains!)
