I have been keeping a shoe box of cards and notes to my H since he left. He knows about it and I said that I hope I can give it to him one day. I even have kept a journal for him. I haven't been very diligent in keeping that up, but on certain occassions and/or when the mood hits, I'll buy a card or put a note in his box. It may seem pathetic or stupid, but it makes me feel better for what its worth. Perhaps a suggestion for you r29876 or anyone else having this issue.
