I just wanted to create a post that would be dedicated only to our plans and dreams. What kind of things do you dream of doing in the coming months or even years as you gain your new sense of self? What are your goals? They can be physical, material, emotional, spiritual, whatever. But use this space to talk about these positive things.

I'll start:

1. Summer teaching face to face (haven't done that in a long time) and new online course teaching
2. Research and write my book in summer and fall (hopefullly my sabbatical is approved, fingers crossed)
3. Garden: get my large vegetable garden cleaned up and put mulch paths down to limit the size to what I can handle alone
4. Garden: clean up all the beds that have gone to ruin
5. Yard: buy a storage shed that's "cute". LOL. I always loved storage sheds that were like little houses. I'd like one in my yard to sit in during nice times of the year to read or write or stitch, and then landscape around it
6. Needlework: get back into my passion SERIOUSLY again
7. Read about 200 books
8. See my family more often
9. Visit my friend in Greensboro, NC
10. Meet more cool people to hang out with in my area
11. Do some painting in my house and whatever else to make it even more different than it was when I was married

That's all for now, but I think we should all write and add to our goals and dreams as needed!

Love it! My goals

Lose the weight I gained during the past year - I am on that one already, and lost 5 lbs.
Like you, read a ton of books
Work on my new business venture which is exciting
Meet more new people - doing pretty well on this one, but want to go on expanding it.
Continue my spiritual journey, and continue to know, like and trust myself without outside validation
Listen to more music

Avoid bad hair days: this one is important!!

I have already bought a wreck of a house to renovate Crazy, but fun, and I can do it as and when. My kids all love it. It has its own fig tree!!

Thanks for your positive outlook on life

My goals:

Get out from under this house with enough money to buy a house
all 'my own'
Continue to advance in my job to a point of earning a decent
living without worrying about petty things like utility bills
Continue to grow and live to my utmost.
Be the best Grandma & Mom I can be.

I agree with Beatrice, Antonia, Thank you!

* Exercise, exercise, exercise.....again!
* Eat Healthy - not diet, and lose the weight for good!
* Get that stained glass project out and FINISH it!
* Start making jewelry again.
* Get the carpeting I need.
* Remodel MY bedroom.
* Learn who I am.
* Learn how to go out and have fun!
* Get my garage cleaned out so I can park in it (spring project).
* Continue to process and GET what THIS is all about.
* Keep adding goals to keep me moving forward.

Well lets see:

* prioritize better career / personal life
* get better organized so I don't feel like a chicken running around with my head chopped off all of the time.
* "play" with my girls more
* remember to take "me" time
* keep hiking and exercising
* read more
* take a vacation this summer
* hire someone to fix the little things that need to be fixed in my house so I can put it on the market this spring
* Clean house to downsize into a duplex
* keep going out with my friends and enjoying my life
* look for new job that pays more and has bennies (this is not what I WANT to do, but I should to better stand on my own)
* do a better job training my dumb dog wink
* take more bubble baths
* buy clothes that actually FIT my new slimmer body
